Welcome to SÉLAVY SUPERFOODS. By using this website or visiting our points of sale, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. PURPOSE

These General Conditions expressly regulate the terms applicable to the processes for contracting products offered by Sélavy through its website. Acceptance of these terms is an essential requirement for making any purchase.
Sélavy may modify these conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes apply from the moment they are accessible on the website. The customer is subject to the conditions in force at the time of purchase.

3. PARTIES

The purchase process takes place between the Customer (a natural person resident in the EU or a duly registered legal entity) and Sélavy Superfoods S.L.

4. ACCESS AND REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE

Access to the website is free. Registration is not mandatory to make a purchase, but truthful and complete data must be provided to process the order. The registered user is responsible for the use of their credentials and must report any misuse. The customer may request deletion of their user account at any time.

5. PURCHASE PROCESS

5.1 Information and availability

Each product on www.selavysuperfoods.com is accompanied by:

  • Name and functional line (day/night)

  • Ingredients, recommended doses, and possible allergens

  • Illustrative photograph

  • Price including VAT

  • Availability for shipping or pickup

If an item is out of stock, the customer will be informed immediately and the corresponding amount will be refunded in the agreed form.

5.2 Stages of the process

  1. Product selection and validation in the cart

  2. Entry of billing and shipping details

  3. Selection of payment method and secure confirmation

  4. Receipt of an email with proof of purchase

By completing the purchase, the customer accepts that they have reviewed the ingredients and allergens and releases Sélavy from liability in the event of reactions or dietary incompatibilities.

6. PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

6.1 Prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are not included and will be clearly shown before confirming the purchase. In the event of an obvious pricing error, the customer will be notified to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it.

6.2 Payment methods

We accept payments via:

  • Bank card (Visa, Mastercard)

  • PayPal

  • Bizum

Data are encrypted and handled via a secure server with SSL technology. Sélavy Superfoods does not store banking data.

7. DELIVERY TIMES

We ship with Seur Frío (refrigerated transport).

FREE shipping for orders and subscriptions over €90. You may also pick up your order at no extra cost at our workshop: Calle San Bernardino 21, 28015, Madrid.

  • Community of Madrid: If ordered before 17:00, delivery within 48 hours via Seur Frío.

  • Outside the Community of Madrid: 48 to 72 hours.

8. SHIPPING CONDITIONS

Shipments are dispatched from the Community of Madrid Monday to Thursday.

Shipping costs with Seur Frío for the Community of Madrid and mainland Spain are fixed. We ship throughout the mainland. No deliveries to the islands. Base cost: €6.50. Delivery in 48 hours, Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00. However, during peak periods, delivery may be delayed for reasons beyond our control.

To prevent your order from sitting over the weekend at the carrier’s warehouse (and to keep it as fresh as possible), we do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays.

9. RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Given the perishable nature of our truffles, the order must be delivered or picked up within a maximum of 2 days from the shipping date.

If delivery cannot be made due to the customer’s absence at the indicated address, or for reasons beyond Sélavy’s control, the company is exempt from any responsibility regarding loss of quality or deterioration of the product and no replacement or compensation will be offered.

All shipments are made through the transport company SEUR Frío. Once the order leaves our facilities, delivery is entirely the responsibility of the carrier. We do not accept exchanges or returns due to factors beyond Sélavy or within the carrier’s scope of action. In case of absence, the customer must choose either (i) pickup at the Seur Frío Point in their area, or (ii) reshipment of the order the following day. In case of a delivery delay, the customer must contact us within the next 24 hours; since we depend on the carrier to provide a solution, the handling time may take up to 72 hours.

If you receive a product in poor condition or a product that does not match what was ordered, you must email info@selavysuperfoods.com within 24 hours of receiving the order, attaching a photo of the product received and the order number.
We will evaluate your case in order to proceed with a full or partial refund, or a discount for future purchases. In the case of a full refund, the customer may choose between a refund of the order or requesting a new shipment. In both cases, the company reserves the right to request collection of the defective product.
The refund will be made through the same means used to pay for the order. We do not issue refunds for commercial reasons or for delivery delays beyond the company’s control. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product, you can contact us at info@selavysuperfoods.com explaining the reason for your dissatisfaction. We will be happy to listen and, where possible, offer a solution. We will not accept exchanges or returns if prior notification of the order number has not been received.

Exchanges and cancellations cannot be made from the purchasing platform. To request a change or cancellation, write to info@selavysuperfoods.com and we will attempt to resolve the issue in time.

10. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

At Sélavy Superfoods we produce all our products in accordance with European food safety regulations, ensuring quality, hygiene, and traceability processes at every stage.

Our products comply with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 on food safety, as well as Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.

Each batch is produced in a workshop with a sanitary registration and includes:

  • Hygiene and quality certificates issued in accordance with current regulations.

  • Full traceability from the origin of the ingredients to the final product.

  • Transparent labeling, with list of ingredients, nutritional information, allergen warnings, storage conditions, and best-before date.

  • Periodic safety and quality analyses to ensure our products are safe, healthy, and nutritious.

This ensures that every Sélavy product meets the highest European standards in food.

11. NATURE OF THE PRODUCTS

Our truffles are handcrafted and designed to fit into a balanced diet. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent diseases. We recommend consulting a health professional if you have any doubts about consumption.

Sélavy cannot guarantee the continuous technical availability of the website and is not responsible for service interruptions, viruses, or harmful external elements.
– The potential effects of our products (such as improved skin appearance, energy, or rest) are based on their functional ingredients, but we do not guarantee individual results.
– SÉLAVY SUPERFOODS is not responsible for undesirable effects resulting from improper consumption or interactions with medications.

You may exercise your rights recognized in Organic Law 3/2018 (December 5) on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantees and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). We do not sell or voluntarily share personal information. SELAVY SUPERFOODS SL will process your data, manually and/or automatically, for the following specific purposes:

  • Prepare anonymous statistical reports on access habits and user activity on the website.

  • Take necessary actions to protect customers’ interests when required, or to comply with court rulings and measures contained therein.

  • Send electronic communications with offers, promotions, and news related to our activity only if you have consented as a customer or have not expressly objected.

If you contact us outside a contractual relationship or without registering, you can do so via the website or contact email. To correctly handle your request, we may ask for personal data such as your name, email, and any other information related to your request and message. Optionally, you may provide your postal address and/or phone number. We collect the requested information solely to properly manage your request. Data will not be used for any additional purpose nor disclosed to third parties without your express consent, unless authorized by law. If we are not legally required to retain your personal data, it will be deleted once your request has been processed.

If you send us your CV, we will process your data to assess and manage your job application and, where appropriate, carry out the necessary actions for staff selection and hiring, to offer positions that match your profile.

For technical reasons, each time your browser accesses our website, information is automatically sent to our server (e.g., browsing data). Some of this information is stored in log files, such as:

  • volume of data transferred

  • IP address (anonymized)

Browsing data do not include personal data. We analyze browsing data only when necessary, especially to fix website operational issues or resolve security incidents. We store these data indefinitely.

Recipients of data disclosures
We only disclose personal data we collect to data processors who have signed a data processing agreement with us committing to proper handling of our records. We may also need to disclose personal data when necessary to provide the service or respond to the requested inquiry, as well as in cases provided by law.

Retention period of personal data
SELAVY SUPERFOODS SL will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, as long as you do not revoke consent. Thereafter, if necessary, information will be blocked for the legally established periods, in any case 5 years, or the period established by law for any action arising from the processing.
For data provided with your CV to access a recruitment process, they will be kept for 3 years from the date of the last update. After that period, without updates, data will be deleted unless you indicate otherwise.
